I can’t say anything nice about my experience when it came to my room but the valet was some of the best that I have experienced. Kenney and Andre made sure my vehicle was taken care of and they were extremely quick and efficient. 10/10 valet from them. If the room was as good as the valet I would have stayed longer.
Honest review... room 1001. I had mixed feelings when booking this hotel for the labor day weekend after reading all the reviews. Here is what I honestly experienced. The location of the hotel is amazing... right in the heart of historic Montgomery. Restaurants, museums, bars, night life, river walk... all easily walkable from this location. Parking was not good... we ended up doing valet for $30/day plus tip. The valet was very quick in bringing my truck to the front. The building is beautiful architecturally inside and out... it is old and dated, but we enjoyed the older feeling of the building. The reception area is beautiful and filled with history. The elevators worked great and brought us up to the 10th floor no issues. Our room.... yes, it was dated. As you can see from the pictures, but it was very comfortable. There was a little bit of a musty smell, but we're in the deep south in August... get used to it. The carpet was new and clean, the bed was comfortable and clean, the arm chair was tattered... but so what. The outside of the building was loud at night until any 2200hrs. There are night clubs, bars, loud stereos, loud mufflers, etc etc... but it adds to the vibe. Just bring a noise machine. We loved people watching all night... and just went with the flow. The TV worked great and cable was fine. Only issue was that there was not a refrigerator on the room.... but not a deal breaker. Overall...I would stay here again simply for the location in the beautiful and historic city!
Very pleasant experience. We chose this place for proximity to the ballpark and price. Honestly did not check reviews beforehand and was surprised at how bad they were. We enjoyed our stay and our room was EXTREMELY clean. No issues with water or room temp. The staff was very friendly and professional. I think you need to recognize that this is an old building, so yeah, it’s not shiny and new. There’s some wear showing, but we found that more charming than off-putting. For the price, we were more than satisfied.
KIKI was the best!! when we needed help she did her job, fast, and kind! she was SO sweet! i was not very impressed with the hotel at first but she made up for it! really good customer service! ok area there was so questionable people! did i say wonderful customer service?!? things what was whatever- only one elevator worked, elevator slow, windows looked cheap and easy to break. The building was beautiful! it did I mention Kiki? she was wonderful!! and the customer service? WOW!! some hotels don’t really seem to care but Hampton Inn & Suites Montgomery-Downtown cares!! KIKI was the best!!!
my stay at the PMC via Montgomery was sublime due to the amazing customer service, especially from the valet staff. It felt nice to have my time respected, and Not to mention just how respectful the valet staff was that is something that is rare to see, and it is greatly appreciated. Overall, the staff was amazing and it was a genuinely relaxing experience.
This is my second time staying at this hotel from my last stay two months ago. They are improved especially on the room cleaning and accommodations. My family and I had a wonderful stay for our road trip. Lastly, the valet service was great. They found our car quickly and we were on our way. I will definitely return again in the future.
I loved the location. I loved the historic look. Staff and front desk service was awesome. The lounge chair in our room could be replaced. The bathroom shower could be upgraded. But overall, it wasn't too bad.
I am so happy to see this property come back to life with renovations!!! I love the decor of the new rooms! This is such a prime location downtown as it is in walking distance of everything!! Ray provided top tier customer service at check in (you rock!) Management, please add photos of renovated rooms! We will be back!
